Parent Haven connects you with other similar parents through in-person, group meetups in San Francisco. When you sign up, you'll share key information about yourself, like your zip code, your kids' ages, and your personal interests. The Parent Haven site facilitates small group meetups with parents who are likely to be a good support system for one another, and most groups continue to meet regularly.
The type of event depends on the location and interests of the parents. They can range from a walk with strollers to playground meetup to a glass of wine at happy hour.
When you sign up for Parent Haven, you'll share information like your zip code, the age(s) of your kid(s), your interests and your parenting style. Each event or series of events will be organized around parents with common attributes e.g. dads of babies from 0 to 6 months who live in the Marina and like to hike.
Parent Haven is completely free to join and there's no cost to attend events. If you attend an event (such as a coffee meetup) where you order something, you're responsible for picking up your own tab. That's it.
Parent Haven is for all parents — from pregnancy until the kids leave the house — but most of your get togethers with be with parents who are at a very similar stage to you. We know how important it is to connect and exchange experiences with parents going through comparable things.
Yes! Parent Haven is a great way for pregnant (and all expecting parents) to meet other people close to you who are in the same boat.
