Community Guidelines

Parent Haven is a community for parents to connect with other parents — often with people they haven't met yet — to share experiences, ask questions, and sometimes make plans to meet in person. These guidelines exist to help keep the community respectful, safe, and welcoming for everyone.

By using Parent Haven, you agree to follow these guidelines.

Be respectful and kind

  • Treat other members with respect, empathy, and good intent.
  • Disagreements are okay; harassment, bullying, or intimidation are not.
  • Do not engage in hateful or discriminatory language based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.

Keep the community safe

  • Threats of violence, encouragement of self-harm, or dangerous behavior are not allowed.
  • Do not share or request illegal content or services.
  • Do not impersonate another person or misrepresent who you are.

Child safety is critical

  • Parent Haven accounts represent adults only.
  • Sexual content involving minors is strictly prohibited.
  • Be thoughtful and respectful when discussing children.
  • Do not share photos or personal information about children without appropriate consent.

Any violation related to child safety may result in immediate account suspension.

No spam or scams

  • Do not send spam, solicitations, or deceptive messages.
  • Do not promote scams, misleading offers, or fraudulent activity.
  • Limited, relevant sharing (e.g. recommendations) is fine; abuse is not.

Meeting in person

Many parents use Parent Haven to make plans to meet in person. Use good judgment when doing so:

  • Meet in public places
  • Trust your instincts
  • Take your time getting to know others

Parent Haven does not verify users and is not responsible for in-person interactions.

Reporting and enforcement

If you see behavior that violates these guidelines:

  • Use the in-app or on-site reporting tools to report the user/message
  • You may also block or mute other members at any time

We review reports and may take action, including removing content or suspending accounts, to help keep the community safe.
