When you create an account on Parent Haven, you share basic information about yourself, like your zip code, child age(s) and your interests. You'll be automatically invited to groups you may be a fit for based on this information. From there, you can choose which groups you'd like to join.

In order to be placed into groups, you'll need to share your full name, your zip code and the month and year your child(ren) was/were born (or your due date). Everything else is optional, and as parents ourselves, we take privacy of the information you share very seriously.

First, check to ensure that you've added information about your child(ren)'s age(s) and/or your due date. Since most of our groups are for parents at a similar parenting stage, most groups have child age criteria. The vast majority of parents in areas we serve who haven't been invited to groups are missing child ages.

If you're all set there, check if there are any other badges you want to add to your account. A small percent of parents will still need to wait a little while to be placed into groups. For instance, we have fewer parent signups with older children, but we're still able to make groups for many of them. Thanks for being patient!
